Hello all!

My name is Kayleigh Lovvorn Date and I am so pleased you've visited this page!

I am a proud graduate of Baylor University with my BA in Journalism, Public Relations and New Media with a minor in History, and most recently served the state of Texas as Press Secretary for the Office of the Texas Attorney General. I have dozens of teachers and mentors to thank for the well-rounded skill set I have today, as well as the opportunity to spend an entire semester abroad in Europe with the Netherlands as my home base. Good luck and a strong will helped me hone my skills in include writing (both professional writing and narrative), research (historical, investigative and commercial), photography and all Adobe photo editing programs, videography and all Adobe video editing programs, hosting for live events as well as video, digital design and copywriting for advertising/marketing.

What I've listed above covers technical aspects of my career, but you (potential co-worker, employer, and/or friend) are probably also curious about what kind of person I am.

Overall, I believe that life is for living, loving and learning. Forming connections with one another and growing in both knowledge and experience is a constantly expanding joy that we all have in common and get to share with each other. Communication is the key to healthy relationships and broadened perspective, ultimately leading toward greater empathy, compassion, judgment and discernment of the truth.

I am a voracious reader of all books. Give me anything from poetry to comics, textbooks to new wave literature - I want to read it all. 

Animal rescue organizations are near and dear to my heart, and my family and I consistently work with and adopted our furry friends from local rescues. I spent four years with the DFW Labrador Retriever Rescue working with traumatized dogs on training and socialization.

There is no better feeling in the world than spending a Sunday morning in the yard, sipping coffee with my husband, Mr. Date, while our cat curls up in my lap and our puppy reaches his maximum zooming potential!
